Annual Lake Management
Healthy lakes don't just happen overnight. They need constant monitoring and treatment to ensure that they are performing to your expectations. ACI offers an annual lake management program that provides our clients with assurance that their lake, pond, or stream will be professionally maintained.
Because many of our clients live in colder climates, our lake management contracts are tailored to each specific situation. Our programs range from 6-10 months in duration for most clients (treatments are not necessary during the colder months of winter). Our typical program consists of Aquatic Vegetation Management, Water Quality Monitoring, and Fisheries Management (including fish surveys, angler surveys, and stocking).
A database is developed for each client which allows our biologists to compare waters from week to week, month to month, and year to year. This database assists with evaluation of management strategies, comparisons between years, and helps bridge the gap between biology and management satisfaction.
Providing monthly summaries on performance helps keep concerns from becoming problems. At the beginning of each month, ACI will send a fax to the property owner outlining, in executive summary format, all ACI activities. The fax will include all water quality reports, vegetation and algae control treatments, fish stocking activities, and any additional ACI activity that impacts the resource.
The annual lake management program allows our biologists to stay ahead of potential problems, and helps save money in the long run by avoiding unexpected costly expenses caused by late treatments.
