Paul Cassidy President Paul has a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Business and also a Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries Sciences, both from New Mexico State University. He was the Northwest Area Fisheries Manager for the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish for eleven years before founding Aquatic Consultants in 1998. As ACI's President, Paul's primary responsibility for the company is marketing and client relations. Paul is the past-president of the AZ/NM Chapter of the American Fisheries Society and has been a member of the Chapter for fifteen years. Paul is also a member of the North American Lake Management Society. His areas of expertise include lake and stream restoration, aquatic vegetation control, lake aeration, and trophy sport fish management. Scott Bryan Vice-President Scott was a Supervisory Research Biologist for Arizona Game and Fish Department for 10 years before joining ACI in 2005. As Vice-President, Scott's responsibility is the day-to-day operations of the company, including scheduling, cost control, proposal and contract writing, and project coordination. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Biology (Chemistry Minor) from Eastern Illinois University, and a Master of Science degree in Fisheries Management from South Dakota State University. He has been a member of the American Fisheries Society for 15 years and was president of the AZ/NM Chapter in 2005. He is also a member of the North American Lake Management Society. Scott has completed training from the USFWS in electrofishing safety and techniques, and has GIS/GPS training, rapid fish health assessment training, and fish kill training. His areas of expertise include project management, budgeting, sportfish management, and fish population surveys of streams, ponds, and reservoirs. Lisa Roeber Office Manager Lisa recently moved back to Albuquerque from North Carolina where she gained over 15 years of office management and accounting experience. Lisa takes care of our human resources including management of our employee benefits, development of policies and procedures, and implementing all safety policies. She also assists our staff accountant in payroll, billings, and maintaining all client files. Troy Cook Director of Development and Design Troy has a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Texas A&M University. He is an experienced Landscape Architect with a proven track record in marketing and development. He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and is an accredited LEED professional through the USGBC (United States Green Building Council). As Director of Development and Design, Troy's primary responsibility is to research and locate new development opportunities, marketing, and client relations. His areas of expertise include project design, development, and management. Dale Ford Project Manager Dale is our senior construction manager and he has over 25 years experience in the industry, 15 of which managing large projects. While serving as an Engineer for the United States Army for nine years, he was awarded eleven medals for Commendation, Achievement, and Good Conduct. Dale has attended courses in Construction Engineer Supervision, Leadership Development, First-Aid, OSHA, and he is a registered safety officer for the company. Billy Collins Field Supervisor Billy started his ACI career in our biology division and after two years, found his calling in our construction division. With over six years experience in heavy equipment operation and construction, and his two years managing fisheries and lakes, Billy offers a unique combination of skills in his vision of lake building. Billy has been an ACI field supervisor for two years. He has attended OSHA courses and is a registered safety officer. Jason Rector Project Manager/Senior Biologist Jason has Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries Science from New Mexico State University. He worked for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for three years, specializing in stream morphology and mapping. Jason has six years experience in lake management, water quality monitoring, aquatic vegetation control, and fish surveys. His responsibilities with ACI include oversight of the lake and stream management program, oversight of the fish stocking and survey program, and supervision of all biologists. Jason also has oversight of the design and construction of ACI’s river restoration projects. He is a certified aquatic chemical applicator in New Mexico, Colorado, Texas, Arizona, Nebraska and Wyoming. Jason is also a member of the Arizona/New Mexico Chapter of the American Fisheries Society and the North American Lake Management Society. Jason Wiebenga Senior Biologist Jason has a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Science from New Mexico State University. He has five years experience in lake management, fish health surveys, water quality analysis and aquatic vegetation control. Jason also has three years experience in design, operation, and maintenance of fish holding facilities. He also has experience in fisheries and wildlife public education. For ACI, Jason supervises the biology field crew for all lake and stream management activities, manages the fish stocking and survey program, and is the primary point of contact for all of our biology clients. Jason is a certified aquatic chemical applicator in New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Arizona, Nebraska and Wyoming. Jason is also a member of the Arizona/New Mexico Chapter of the American Fisheries Society and the North American Lake Management Society. Chris Martinez Field Biologist Chris also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Sciences from New Mexico State University. Prior to joining ACI in 2005, he spent a year in Alaska with the Bureau of Land Management and gained valuable experience in hydrology and data collection. Chris now has three years experience as a lake management specialist and is a certified pesticide applicator in Arizona and New Mexico. Along with his skills as a biologist, Chris is also an expert at diagnosing and repairing any problems that might occur to mechanical systems. Jonathan Tompkins Field Biologist Jonathan is our newest biologist and a valuable addition to the team. He graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences. Jonathan also has Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. Through internships with New Mexico Game and Fish and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Jonathan gained valuable experience with fisheries techniques, such as electrofishing, fish health surveys, fish removals, whirling disease testing, and fish stocking. He also gained valuable experience in water quality analysis and riparian habitat restoration. He now has a year of experience in lake management and is a certified pesticide applicator in the State of New Mexico. JR Murphy FIELD SUPERVISOR A native of New York, JR has a proven track record of managing multiple construction projects for various general contractors throughout New Mexico and New York. With over ten years experience as a construction superintendent, JR offers expertise in a wide variety of areas. For Aquatic Consultants, JR supervises lake and stream construction projects including the day-to-day activities on the job site, scheduling personnel, working with vendors and subcontractors, and providing critical review of plans and specifications. JR is OSHA trained and is a registered safety officer for ACI. Mandy Miller Client Relations/Marketing Specialist Mandy is our newest addition to the administrative staff at Aquatic Consultants. She received a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of New Mexico in 1996. Mandy has 12 years experience in customer service, business administration and marketing. For Aquatic Consultants, Mandy assists with the day-to-day organization and operation of the office. She also assists with the marketing of the company, including developing and maintaining the web site, advertisements and brochures, preparing and distributing newsletters, reports, proposals, and other documents. |
